An Almost Almost Sundae

I have a short post today, because I have nothing to review. You see, I’ve been operating on a long backlog of sundaes extending to February 2023.

The idea was for the backlog to give me a jumpstart to the blog so I could replenish it at my leisure. I was too leisurely, and my backlog is now exhausted.

There are still a couple experiences worth posting, but they are not the usual review fare and are thus still in development.

Instead of getting a sundae, I found myself in SLC for its annual Kilby Block Party concert series. I darted around in a panic, desperately searching for something I could review for you, the masses.

And I found a worthy contender. The Hot Beef Sundae.

It sounded incredibly unappetizing. The “hot” qualifier on “hot beef” made me infinitely uncomfortable. Yet these spine-shuddering menu items are often the most provocative—excellent fodder for my tens of followers.

But here comes the bad news: I could not find the vendor for the atrocity. It seemed like Leatherby’s was where I needed to go, but I could not find the Hot Beef Sundae anywhere on the menu. And with a line that was long and slow-moving, my hunger demanded that I find another option.

So I’m sorry for the lack of content today. The hunt continues—stay tuned for next week.
